KIRKUS REVIEW

Miss Edwards' first entertainment, The Survivors (1968) was particularly good; this is especially bad--a footling business about the dance, romance seen through eyes which are ""deep pools of longing,"" and the escape of one Miklos Alexandrovitch not only from Russia but from the bondage of his impresario-teacher Miravokov, a great but evil genius. The story takes place for the most part in Paris where premier danseur. Alexandrovitch defects--right into the arms of lovely Lucette.... The political cadre seems inappropriate as well as improbable and all of it is assoluta nonsense.
