MARRIED ON WEDNESDAY

Primarily a story for the distaff side, character portrayal and development are presented with verisimilitude in the story of Kay and Kenny Dixon, students at Northwestern University who marry before their educations are completed. In-law reactions are presented realistically; the painful process of placing their unity as a married pair before their filial loyalties is recorded with understanding of human nature. Other couples who marry early -- with varying degrees of happiness -- are also well rendered. With younger marriages on the increase, this presentation of student marriage assumes additional importance.
