DAVY CROCKETT

Perhaps the beginner's ability to read the story of Davy Crockett independently will compensate for the bedlous fact-by-fact interpretation of a tale that had its heyday several years ago. Leonard Voaburgh's Illustrations are an asset to the text which despite its easy reading, vocabulary falls to prove why Davy Crockett became such an idol.
