FOOLS RUSH IN

A fantastic sort of story, with the froth which is characteristic of Anne Green, but lacking her subtle humor and underlying satire. A very slim story of an American girl, cursed with a strange inheritance, carried from pillar to post, and eventually winding up on the Continent, in odd and unconvincing situations. It is told in the first person, but needs more than that to carry conviction.
