KILLING KIN

Chief Detective Inspector Austen, holidaying in Spain, is present when the hostess of a family party has an accident and is later killed. With no Scotland Yard machinery, Austen tries to guard her heir's life, but when the son is killed aboard ship en route to England, Austen moves in for keeps, to settle inheritance claims and crimes. Definitely conscientious.
