KIRKUS REVIEW

A charmer about how the right thing happened so Peter could keep on drawing and have his own pictures without having to erase them from the school blackboard each day. Really big, two-tone pictures by Richard M. Powers and a complementing text bring Peter up from babyhood, to disappointing first school days, and the cure-when his understanding parents re-do his bedroom so he can draw on the walls and have his own art supplies. And if these parents seem more accomodating than some, you feel Peter's energetic talents that they'll be rewarded too.
