Drippy romancing, in an inflated short story comprising just 77 pages of large print. On planet Demeathorn, rich young Caissa suspects that her hunter-diplomat father Baythan is Up To Something when he advises her to marry in haste. (The suitor, however, is dimwitted and unappealing.) Indeed, Baythan hopes to gain control of the coelura (""with hollows""), floating alien frisbees that can spin gorgeous living garments, by marrying the presumptive heiress of coelura-land--but if they're forced to spin too much, the coelura die. Murell, the rightful heir to the coelura, has crashed in the wilderness; Caissa comes upon him, falls in love, and helps him return to civilization. . . where all is resolved and everyone lives happily ever after. Fatuous.
