Slated for best seller lists, first on the universal interest in anything concerning the Lindbergh name and fame; second on the first rate build-up the publishers have given their 'Big Four' scheduled for late Summer publication. As for the content of the book itself, I found it entertaining reading, colored with humor and enough of the personal to give it the intimate touch I feared would be lacking. It is -- as is fairly obvious from the title -- the account of the trip-taken in the Summer of 1931 to the Orient, via Canada, Alaska, Siberia, islands of the Japanese archipelago, Japan and China. Sell on natural impetus of the Lindbergh name, and to those interested in aviation, in unique types of travel books, on the poetry and charm of the telling. Perhaps not great literature, but it is fun reading.
