Eighteen-year-old Clare Richmond does just that as an assistant to her accomplished cousin Serena who is managing a cruise for a British company through the waterways of Holland. As the bustling life on shore glides by complications d'amour blossom aboard. Serena mourns an absent love; passenger Victoria resists her mother's strictures about love and marriage to a young Australian; and Clare begins to see the warm heart 'neath the chilly exterior of crippled painter, Stephen Kane. All ends arm-in-arm. Some attractive views of Holland, a touching excursion to Anne Frank's garrett, and a moonlit kiss or two make this a peg above most teen light fare.
