KIRKUS REVIEW

Willy and his mother search for objects to represent the numbers to ten. No Arabic numerals are used; but each number is anticipated before the page turn (one cow shown with two barns; two birds shown with three haystacks; etc.), an amusing added feature. A nicely planned, old-fashioned-looking counting book.
