A big advance over Gamille (of two years back), better orientated, tighter plot, characters less like lay puppets. But at that it is still pretty thin substance. The story of two sisters, cursed with bad inheritance and worse upbringing, too much money and a false set of values. One skids down hill fast; the other pulls herself out of the mire by her own bootstraps, without quite knowing what it's all about. Sharp -- too sharp --contrast between the pitfalls of the wicked city and the healing of the country. Rental library -- for those who like the gay fast set of London as their most.
