MOT, YBBAT AND LITTLE PHARAOH by Anne Syfret

MOT, YBBAT AND LITTLE PHARAOH

By

Pub Date: Nov. 8th, 1976

Callow brown drawings, comic-book plot, TV-cartoon facetiousness, and an exploitive abuse of historical setting mark this atrocity about Ancient Egyptian Mot, grandson of a poor fisherman; his new friend Tut, son of the pharaoh; their kidnapping by scoundrel U-Rat; and their rescue by Mot's clever cat Ybbat. Then Mot goes to school with the ""little pharaoh"" and learns that, as Egyptian writing reads from right to left, he and his cat are Tom and Tabby. As the Pharaoh is fond of saying, feed them to the crocodiles.
