KIRKUS REVIEW

Pleasant enough but unsubstantial, this story of tremulous young love. Nora and Cass both work hard at impecunious jobs to support a parent economically unsound and frivolous. Cass refuses to capitalize his charm and fame as former star athlete and glamor socialite. Nora, discouraged with his chances, foments a rift. Both have backstops in the form of other admirers, well equipped with this world's goods -- but in the end true love finds a way. Rentals -- women.
