NORMAN BONES, DETECTIVE

Young Norman Bonen, super-sleuth in these three lively British mysteries, is the most coldly efficient sprout we have met in some time, and he has some thick knots to untie. The first mystery involves a Nazi-pursued special investigator, a mysterious disappearance, and a blood-chilling ghost story; the other two mysteries deal respectively with another disappearance to the tune of a ghostly hunting party, and a sizeable robbery involving a cave, several red herring and a holiday inn.
