Fourth in this series, this contains 15 stories and some odd bits of verse and is a fairly representative sampling of supernatural, sociological, humorous, melodramatic and realistic SF. There's a first in Daniel F. Galouye's Sanctuary; Shirley Jackson's Bulletin is a fragment of time travel; Lord Dunsany's Jorgens reveals where anger will drive a machine. There are Bester, Kornbulth, Bardbury, Sheckley and McComas among others to carry the ball for telepaths, androids, hexing, wizardry, chess, etc. A good average of speculative surprises here.
