IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HESTER

John Mannering, divorced from his double life as the Baron, British cracksman- jewel thief extraordinary, becomes involved in disproving the charge of murder against Hester Vane while he is investigating the theft of valuable paintings from Lord Horton's collection. Mannering's pursuit of the criminals narrows down and he closes his case with saving Hester from death by dynamiting the tower in which she is imprisoned. Robin Hood touches with a melodramatic wind up.
