RIDING ALONG by Antonio P. Fachiri

RIDING ALONG

By

Pub Date: Nov. 15th, 1935
Publisher: Harper

Just the title suggests a leisurely, pleasant experience and Mr. Fachiri writes with the same charm that characterizes his articles in The Field, The Sportsman and Polo -- about riding -- especially showing and hunting. His success as an exhibitor at the Garden speaks well for his own riding -- for the novice or boys and girls. Good stuff. Chapter VII is contributed by R. S. Summerhays (Martin Gale of Polo -- Monthly, etc.) Chapter X by Lady Hunloke-- Exhibitor and Horse Show Judge, Chapter XIV by Sir Edward Durand, Bart. (Council of National Pony Society), Chapter XVII by William Fawcett, Hunting and Racing Editor of The Field -- add to the charm and variety of the book which leaves no stone unturned to intrigue the novice with every form of riding from Central Park to Polo, and Ranch to the Garden.
