FRANK FRISCH: The Fordham Flash

His later chores such as managing the Priates, coaching and broadcasting, follow. Frisch views today's game as a retired drunkard regards whiskey. ""The old fire and snap has gone out of baseball"", he grumps. The syntax, most of it better than this, is provided by Mr. Stockton, a sports writer. Older fans are led down a nostalgic path spanning 40 years, but junior enthusiasts, interested in baseball history will enjoy this too.
