The Professor of New Testament at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, Dr. Hunter has written this book out of his own felt need of having a concise outline of the life and work of Jesus to put into the hands of students of the New Testament. Accordingly, he has arranged the Biblical material in accordance with the accepted findings of New Testament scholars and has given a condensed outline of the life of Jesus thereby. There is nothing new in the content or point of view. The author accepts the traditional evangelical position in regard to the Virgin birth, the miracles, the Crucifixion and Resurrection. The value of the book rests in its arrangement and that has much to commend it. Recommended for theological students and advanced Bible students.
