HOW THE GODS WOVE IN KYRANNON

Another neatly written, utterly vacuous YA-ish fantasy about mistily imagined good overcoming fee-fi-fo-fum evil. The Raithes, a clan of proud horsemen, are driven from their ancient home by the tribute-seeking First Minister of Lirith. Each of the Raithe survivors manages to team up with a different mountain- or forest-dwelling ally, close to winds and earth and the spirit of things, and eventually they all unite their various gifts of longsight and prophecy under the guidance of the wise woman Tisha of the moon-tree forest. Innocuous.
