KIRKUS REVIEW

Specifically for a college audience, but stimulating reading for high school teachers with an eye toward experimentation is this review of the possibilities and problems involved in the venture to integrate the humanities courses in colleges and universities. The author suggests a wide variety of methods, based on results of his own work, and with the assumption that the peculiar aims and potentialities of the humanities courses contain the impetus to intelligent integration with an eye to evolving the greatest benefit to the student's successful adjustment to his social and civic environment.
