WINGED WARFARE

When you finish this book you begin to have a conception of what our leaders in aviation have done and are doing, and you get some confidence that, though speed has not yet been attained, the research and the foundations for quality and quantity are laid. This is a book by two experts in the know, the answer to carping critics (A Williams -- Air Power), a book that tells where we stand, what we have done, what is planned, and what we can expect -- in so far as the information can be given to laymen. They pull no punches, they place blame where blame is due, and give praise where praise is deserved. They go into details, -- types of planes, research and design, the air bases, the air force, the strategy of offense and defense, etc. Dedicated to the R.A.F. A good job.
