KIRKUS REVIEW

A ""Reconnaissance of the Origins and Consequences of Fluctuations in Meal-Times with Special Attention to the Introduction of Luncheon and Afternoon Tea"" that discusses with polish British eating habits from 1780 to the situations produced by present day domestic help shortages. There are appropriate drawings by artists from each period and though the book may be less handled on a young adult shelf that elsewhere, it's delightful reading for the interested of any age.
