ALLERGY: Its Treatment and Care

A concise, clinical explanation for allergic adults or the parents of allergic children of the general nature of these diseases which are inherited, are not outgrown (although there may be dormant periods). The causes are specific (Dr. Bottomley will indicate non-organic disorders, does not use the word psychosomatic) in anything from dust on the wind to dust in the house: he tabulates the more common reactions (foods, penicillin, insects, etc.) and treatment; concludes with questions and answers which along with the index makes this easy to refer to. . . . This seems to be the first general book on a general trade list, so the market has not been desensitized.
