KIRKUS REVIEW

This is the third of a series, but as a story is thoroughly readable even if the others have been omitted. (Sou'wester Goes North and Sou'wester Sails.) Straight adventure, with perhaps more adventure and less sailing than its predecessors. The father of the two boys has disappeared, somewhere in the West Indies; the Navy has given up the search; so the boys start off on their own, run into trouble with a revolutionary, lose their boat, have various adventures on sea and on shore, and eventually win success.
