KIRKUS REVIEW

He is fun to read and mirrors the spirit of the times. His popularity stands on his touching natural, homely things and this new volume lives up to expectations. A good deal of nature creeps into his pages, and he has a faculty for catching moments and bits of beauty and giving them permanence. And there is a contagious emotion, a nostalgic quality in his verse.
