KIRKUS REVIEW

Terry's French horn strikes a sour note, but there's sweetness forthcoming as Parson's funny story and Lynd Ward's full blown drawings follow the cadences of a minor musical disaster. When his horn just goes ""phloo"", Terry's sent from the school band to the principal, to the city-band, to the symphony orchestra before it's finally discovered that a pen has been blocking his playing. The final flourish has Terry in the orchestra too. Polished and properly.
