KIRKUS REVIEW

Cole Thomason hits the New Mexican territory to find that he has been ambushed along with Bowman who is claiming his daughter's Spanish inheritance. Tracking down the traitorous theft Confederate officers have suffered, Thomason, revealed to be a U. S. Marshal, topsyturvies a range kingdom, the traitor to the Confederate cause, and-with the Bowmans' Mexican faithfuls-routes all comers. Big territory -- same story.
