Family feudin' in the wilderness of the old West as the Whitakers and the Baileys contest a property-dividing stream. Their young 'uns--Jane and Lute--reach a romantic impasse and Jane jaunts off after ex-Army officer Vance Kirby who has troubles of his own to overcome before romance and reinstatement occur. Convincing characterization and situation make this a superior six-gun adventure.
