KIRKUS REVIEW

None of the Gold family represented here, but several sketches of Bronx Jewish characters and situations, together with many of Broadway and Hollywood types, reported by one who has an almost Ring Lardner ear for dialog. Vignettes rather than short stories, marked by sharp observation and not unkindly numor.
