KIRKUS REVIEW

The last two Rensome titles have had to do with a different group of children so I welcomed the return to the youngsters of the Swallow and Amazons with joy, only to face definite disappointment in the quality of the book. This time Captain Flint, uncle of two of the girls, takes the crowd on a voyage around the world, and they are shipwrecked off the roast of China, the Wild Cat burned and sunk. Plenty of adventures, including a pirate, make rather incredible reading.
