I TO CAPE OD?

The hoartening account of the Dean of Carnegie Tech's first years retirement, which he faced with fear -- of inactivity, of interests. But Chatham, and the ""backside"" of Cape Cod provided plenty of historical research, incidents, usivo facts, of wintering there, of tourists, of curatorship of the Old Atwood of old tombstones arousing speculation, etc. Facts from the Clipper days, data the Mayflower, the vicitudos of Flymouth Rock, the histories of soowbanging, witch hobbies for those with new free time -- the book is colored by real enjoyment and a contemplative sharing of unhurried pleasures. Gentle -- genteel -- genteel.
