HOW TO DRAW WILD ANIMALS

Arthur Zeidenberg demonstrates his own prowess as a draughtsman. . .but there is little concrete help for those seeking to improve either visual perception or hand-eye coordination. There have been many similar books which purport to instruct by breaking down the anatomy of the creature in question into circles, ellipses, etc. But all they are good for is the outright copyist. Such books are at odds with contemporary though on art education.
