Probably there is a public that likes this breezy, somewhat colloquial presentation of a subject that can be as stolid as this. Personally, I found it a bit too flamboyant, at times smart-alecky, and basically lacking in sound marshalling of ideas to specific ends. It is full of catch prhases, quotable tag lines, etc. which will prove useful to some of its readers. In the main, the author develops the idea that we must win this war as global revolutionaries. In going into this sort of war we are stockholders in the enterprise. We have lost the war of nations. It is a war of continents we are winning. In our peace it is imperative to become economically as well as politically unified. This is no blueprint for postwar planning; simply an attempt to clear the cobwebs of our thinking. He includes many historical parallels; points his lessons from other wars and the peace that followed. We must apply war techniques to peace and plenty.
