Comically styled young sleuthings translated from the Swedish and set in a small town in Sweden. At the beginning of summer Bill and his two friends, Anders Bengsstrom and Eva Lotta Linders- an activity eager trio ready to pounce on suspense at the drop of a hat- encounter a new element in their lives in the person of mysterious Uncle Einar, itinerant cousin to Mrs. Lisander. Bill's suspicions are aroused at such activities of Uncle Einar's as writing to people in care of the General Delivery in Stockholm, his lock picking in the basement of some old castle ruins in their town. At the end of the summer, the course of which is further highlighted by a home made circus performance, and a crook catching rivalry with three contemporaries, Bill, Anders and Eva Lotta are heroes in a speedy automobile chase that lands Einar, two pals and some stolen jewels. Pleasant thrills.
