THE WRATH OF MOTO

Commander Gatti shares intimately his understanding of the pygmies, of their point of view, of their way of life, of the jungle which forms their background. Their folk lore and superstitions he accepts as a vital part of their thinking, and this story of how one lad grew to maturity, accepted responsibility with courage and fortitude and vision, in spite of challenge of Nature in earthquake and volcanic eruption and danger from the dr gorillas, makes good reading. Occasionally, the rhythmic prose, the folk method, obscures the story, but in the final analysis it is an asset.
