The Birthday of Obash was a nonsense picture story book that I liked in spite of myself. The friendly young hippopotamus, shunned by everyone, was such a comical sight. Now comes a sequel, in which Obash tries again, and disrupts a whole parade, until he finds his friends, and they make a parade of their own. Good nonsense.
