All eight of the Frizzlewits lived next to the Zoo. One Sunday morning just as Mrs. was stirring up her batter for the weekly pancakes, there arose a most upsetting cyclone which threw everything from one room to another. The mother retackled her cooking when the wind abated but there sounded a most peculiar noise--the animals were loose and roaring around the house. While the flour held out the pancakes satisfied the creatures' hunger, but finally Mr. Frizzlewit had to ride to town on the kindly giraffe for supplies and help. This is not a very attractive looking book but the story is funny and will be enjoyed over and over again.
