MURDER IS NOT MUTE

Detective Doyle of New York, vacationing in New Jersey, discovers a year-old corpse on the estate of a disliked beer baron. It is strictly a household affair, with suspicion cast on the young wife and her sponging relatives. The corpse is identified as the beer baron's hot-headed young daughter, by another marriage, and suspicion shifts again. Moderately interesting.
