KIRKUS REVIEW

A book that will interest the same group that read The Adolescent Boy, The Adolescent Girl, etc. More concerned with the question of handling children, therefore of particular interest to educators and social workers, as well as parents. Aichhorn uses psychoanalysis in application, but defines his terms very clearly. Sound in theory and therapy, and applicable to the normal child as well as the ""way-ward youth"" of the title. An excellent book -- and because of Aichhorn's reputation in the field, here and abroad, should sell well.
