THE POLKA DOT TWINS

Two little princesses, identical in the flesh as the illustrations graphically show, can tell each other apart only by their dresses -- one with little polka lots and one with big. Somehow their spots get all mixed up, and so, as a result do the little girls. Fortunately a double case of big and little chicken pox sets the confusion to rights. The original French text is coupled with the English translation to accompany the pseudo-childlike illustrations. The picture book set probably won't be much interested in the French or in the slim story, but their parents may find it amusing and continental.
