KIRKUS REVIEW

Another (Developing Your Executive Skills- 1955) business man's builder-upper is keynoted to efficiency and effectiveness in the making of the ""mahogany man"". Some brisk bromides, along with self-testing quizzes, will enable the underling to appraise himself and his job, his relationships, his handling of interviews and conferences; to make the best use of his office, his tools, his subordinates; to launch ideas and develop them; to save time, case tensions, and generally improve himself, his work, and his worth. This is of course organization type-casting along rather obvious lines, but there seems to be a go-getter market which goes for this kind of guidance and gets something out of it.
