KIRKUS REVIEW

How different creatures use their legs, tails and fins is the theme of an unusual small tale. That it winds up with all the things a boy can do that the other animals cannot do is a natural finale. The drawings have an underlying sophistication while on the surface they look like the pictures a child would draw and color himself. There's a wry- and sometimes adult- humor in the nonsense.
