MORRIS IS A COWBOY

Morris is a cowboy. Morris is a policeman. Morris is a Baby Sitter. But, above all, Morris is a moose. For readers already familiar with Morris the Moose, the creature created by New Yorker cartoonist B. Wiseman's fancy is a familiar figure of fun. Ingenuous, carefree, oblivious, Morris takes the back door into the world of men. As an officer of the law, as a befuddled cow hand, and as a bewildered baby sitter, Morris leaves much to be desired. But as a moose of singular nonchalance and humor, he is a welcome addition to the repertoire of animal heroes. Young school children will laugh their way into easyreading proficiency with the antics of Morris the moose.
