THIS MODERN POETRY

A guidebook for the uninitiated, who wants to know and understand modern poetry, and a general survey for anyone who is interested in the subject, and wants to tie loose ends into some pattern. Should produce plus sales in the work of the modern poets she discusses, and might well be sold with that in mind as a suggestion to make at the time of sale. For instance, you might suggest a few, Robert Frost, Robinson Jeffers, Ezra Pound or T. S. Eliot (not both at the time), Gerard Manley Hopkins, Archibald MacLeish. Important reference book for college and school libraries.
