As an annual, there will be requests for this collection, disappointing as it is. A few thrillers fail to raise it to the level of its forerunners. The stories fall into three categories:- news coverage, feature stories, magazine stories. There are several good baseball stories, a few on football, only adequate coverage on other sports, with Lethal Lightning, the story of the Louis-Conn fight, alone outstanding.
