FUN AT MY HOUSE

To Joe, the footstool in the livingroom was an ordinary footstool all day long, but in the evening it became almost anything- a horse to ride, a boat to fish from or a cave in a forest. Joe is disappointed when the stool is broken one day, but his mother and father help fix it and Joe goes adventuring again. These imaginings, though not inspired fantasy, have a healthy recognizable element and rose-brown drawings by Jane Brookhart March add to their nice quality.
