Each method is demonstrated by another of Corwin's two-dimensional, faintly mod tableaus, and the static look of the illustrations also communicates the pointlessness of the whole project which leads nowhere. Although Rinkoff's checklist might stretch the imagination of an average kindergarten class, she doesn't have anything interesting to say about any of the methods she enumerates or about unspoken communication in general, and the whole exercise ends with a lame injunction that ""there axe many ways to tell things without talking.""
