KIRKUS REVIEW

Yet another one of those Christmas do-it-alls, as inevitable as Silent Night on P.A. systems. Here again is Christmas 'round the World, straight out of the Weekly Reader (which is perhaps unfair, since the W.R. style currently is eons ahead in pep and readability). There are recipes 'round the world too, including something questionable from Hawaii (""Close your eyes, bite into one of these...you're in Hawaii""). Oh, yeh? There are things to make and games to play, Child-oriented and harmless enough, and more recipes for this and that. The ""International Mail Order Shopping Guide"" is haphazard and disappointing. Ho ho ho. . .hum.
