The Lengyel Turkey is too long for a ""quickie"" view of a country that is a question mark in today's struggle, and, in addition, proportionately little space is given to modern Turkey. This, no the contrary, is primarily modern Turkey, rooted in history, to be sure, but primarily a product of the last war and the Republic of Ataturk.
